The Power of One: a Global Movement of Youth United in Love, Purpose and Mission

The youth of the Seventh-day Adventist church is a global movement of destiny: united in Love, Purpose and Mission, yet diverse in culture, language, geography, economy, and heritage. It is through the power of Christ and His Spirit that we can celebrate our unity in the midst of such diversity. In a world of ethnic and national divide, this exquisite expression of unity in Jesus is the most powerful expression of the reality of the gospel in the midst of God’s people.

As our motto declares, the love of Christ compels us. Jesus, the creator of the universe in whom the fullness of divinity dwells, came down to become like one of us, to restore us to His likeness. He made peace with us through His blood on the cross. In response to this amazing love and grace, we place Jesus at the center of our life and mission.

Our mission is to lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus and help them to embrace His call to discipleship. We pursue our calling in the context of Revival and Reformation as we submit our lives to the transforming, equipping, and abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. We are not content with mere church membership, but we are students of Jesus for life in character, community, service, and mission.

We embrace our calling to proclaim the soon coming of Jesus and prepare the youth of the world for a purposeful and meaningful life, as Jesus reigns as king of our lives in the here and now, until He comes to claim His own unto himself.
